On Saturday 25 April 2026 we headed to the Cambridge Cycling Festival for the forth year in a row.

It’s seems like yesterday this whole world was new and look at us now!

It was perfect weather, good times spent with great friends. And some great racing!

  1. Likely won't make the live, but next to your South Island trip, I don't think anything epitomizes Jona's journey better than the Cambridge festival…it's sort of a viewing 2nd anniversary for me, and what a long way you guys have brought this channel in that time. LIKING NOW, cuz I know I'll luv 💓it !

  2. Even before Jona mentioned it, I clocked that he broke 1000 watts!!! Way to go, Jona!!! I can't wait to hear what coach has to say about that. The great thing is, you did it multiple times during the race. It wasn't a fluke, it's your new standard.

  3. Great to see literally everyone there. It seems this event is the ‘hub’ of the JtD calendar. Great results for both Toby and Jona. Jona’s race looked properly swift. Congratulations on the 1000W milestone! I reckon you’ll hit it at least twice more in 6 months.

  4. Five seconds is not a lot of time to be able to make up…I know it will be more than that when he moves up a grade next year, but that training is paying off. Well done! And its always nice to get the guest stars in there, as well. 😊

  5. Great video thank you I needed this after my 4:30 AM start for the day. If Jona is looking for a crazy ending to his races he might try practicing Tadej's wheelie accost the finish line, he just needs to work on the minute lead.

  6. SOoo much to say- what a wonderful reel; I was not disappointed in the least! First of all, the best weather ever- we'd call that pure halcyon! Bradley, Toby and Zac have grown so much. Toby is so tall (and congrats on the win!🥇) Great to see Bradley's grin fits so nicely in his mouth now- great lads, all 3… Cambridge has given Jona such a wonderful bunch of friends./ Jona 1,000+ W on the meter?!- my mouth literally came open!! All from the fear of wreck-avoidance! ? (Like me riding in the middle of nowhere when a 200 pound Great Pyrenees dog chased me almost a mile..speed I never knew I had.) Great to see Droplet Oscar on his first big outing, all confident and professional-like! Loved it so much I didn't know whether to or. Thanks for inviting us all along.

  7. That was definitely a good day out Jona – congrats on breaking the 1000W barrier – that is really impressive – like I said in the last video I watched, you are doing so well, and it a really short space of time. Love to see the banter and camaraderie with your mates, and everyone developing at their own pace too. It is nice to hear their comments too. Great video – really enjoyed it. Take care and will see you in the next one – thanks Dad for the awesome video work and editing. 💪🚲🤗❤
