I bought my first one in 2009, a deep green M6L. It got stolen in NYC in 2014 after I locked it up for two minutes to grab a coffee, like an idiot, and it went off to begin a new life somewhere else. I replaced it with a used M6L and ended up traveling all over the world with it. lived in London for a while, then Berlin, and now I’m doing the NYC-to-L.A. shuffle because of work. Along the way, I picked up a low-end Specialized (hated it), then a big, clunky but reasonably priced electric folder that only kind of folded, and just seemed so obscene. I sold that and finally bit the bullet on an electric C Line, which has been absolutely divine.
I love these little bikes. I don’t think I’ll ever not have one, or two :).

Lovely! I have the same model. I added the Cateye PB1000 bike bell in black/ gold to give it a bit of contrast which really pops ( and sounds so much better than the ” ping ” of the stock one)

Did you buy it from NYCe bike? Crazy how the operation just closed after the owner died and the heirs didn’t want to continue it.

  3. I haven’t broken down and bought one yet but I have borrowed a friend’s. There’s a used e nearby that I’m tempted by but it’s nearly the price of the T line.
