I rate it technically illegal, because I think you are not allowed to camp within 100m of the coastline… But I think it is a great spot, and I won’t tell on you. I once slept at the beach, because I thought it would be really cool. But the waves are really loud the whole night, I was harassed by an army of kittens (actual cute kittens, I swear, but looked extremely scary when shining a torch around at night), and at some time in the evening some one actually swept the whole beach with a search light, I guess in search of people like me. But I kept a similarly low profile as you, and nothing happened. But it wasn’t peaceful sleep. Your spot looks better, because it is not on the beach itself.
