I've noticed this gap in between the fork and the frame since I received the bike two weeks ago, and I'm now asking if it's normal or not.
I've also noticed today, after cleaning the bike, that there is a 2nm (second photo) writing but no screw; can anyone confirm there should be one?
Bike is an ultimate.

I’d say the fork doesn’t seem to be fully seated in the frame.
As for the 2nm that is the impact protection unit. It’s a piece that keeps the bars from rotating too far and making contact with the frame. It’s not a huge issue if it’s missing – the only time it’s used is in crashes. You can get them from canyon for pretty cheap if you want one
Hard to tell from the photo, but the fork does not sit flush on the ultimate an there is a visible gap, you can also see that on the product photos on their website.
new bike or 2nd hand as there are a lot of cleaning markt in the lacquer. It looks like the ahead system is not adjusted correctly.

The screw underneath: If this is an recent Aeroad it could be this part: [https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/spare-wear-parts/canyon-gp0251-01-aeroad-ipu-headset/10004773.html](https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gear/components/spare-wear-parts/canyon-gp0251-01-aeroad-ipu-headset/10004773.html)
The gap itself is normal on the Ultimate, that’s how Canyon designed the cockpit and you can see it in their product photos. The 2Nm marking without a screw is the part to worry about. There should be a small bolt there for the headset preload or fork retention depending on the exact model. Worth contacting Canyon directly with these photos before riding it hard, especially since it’s only two weeks old and still under warranty.
Btw download this app I’ve been using called Gear AI. Helps figure out if something is a real issue or just how the bike was built. On the App Store.
Thank you, will do!
