Also just noticed the spoke chain stay protectors on this bike as well. Definitely one of the more interesting bikes I’ve seen in awhile

That’s a cool system.

You mean ubrakes (and their mounting points) in general or this roller cam model in particular?
I really dig the low rear brake, first time I saw this was on an old Kuwahara.
As for the chainstay, this seems way over engineered and yet so cool:) Never seen before.

I have these brakes on a Bianchi Grizzly. There’s a reason they don’t use this style any more.

I had these types of brakes on an old “Buddy Bike” sociable tandem.

There’s an apartment complex by me with this exact bike chained to the front gate. It’s been rusting there for years. Cool to see a living example

I have those brakes on my 80s schwinn High Sierra. Once you get them dialed in, they are great brakes. Probably one of the most powerful rim brakes out there.

I have a legit Cunningham rear brake like this on my Ritchey TimberComp

Roller cams. I recall them on the rear quite a bit, not so much the front.

That’s a super cool frame. Those brakes do not look fantastic.

Typical Scott trying to reinvent the wheel with propriety parts, this is why I will never buy a Scott bike.
