  1. My friend and I recently completed a bikepacking trip in the Ozarks. We traveled from the east coast for this so we were totally unfamiliar with the region. Incredible bike infrastructure out that way – courtesy of the Walton (walmart) family apparently. We had great weather, blue skys and highs in the 60s. The route was taken from [bikepacking.com](http://bikepacking.com) and was a hybrid of No Place Like Oz and Arkansas High Route. We called it [OZ+](https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54303913) Took us 5 and half days. 24,000 ft of climbing. Would highly recommend especially if you like mountain biking. There’s so much great single track out there. Enjoy the stoke!

    Hell yeah.

That looks like a great trip.

I did the a trip in the Ouachitas over Thanksgiving and it was great. Arkansas has some great riding. Also obviously (see user name) from east coast but family is in Arkansas so why not take advantage of it. Late November in Arkansas is September in the Northeast minus the daylight. I’ll be back for Christmas this year so even less light but want to do another trip.

How big was the rock you used to prop the bike up, if it’s as small as it looks you pedals come pretty far down.

Nice looking setup though and great photos.

  3. more interested in those mini Quonset huts and your scout rig. Nice set up

Awesome! I just did No Place like Oz solo a couple of months ago. Incredible route and great scenery! The first section gave me a false sense of security and the last 3/4 tore me up!
