The Super Nerds are BACK to take on a legendary Road Records Association (RRA) challenge: breaking a 51-year-old cycling record from Cardiff to Monmouth and back. Armed with modern superbikes, aero gear, and a track-stand strategy, the trio aims to beat the formidable time of 3 hours and 12 minutes set back in 1975. However, they soon discover that modern traffic and an abundance of red lights might just be the ultimate record-killer!

I enjoyed the whole video, but especially when Si wonders if they would have succeeded if they started at 5 AM on a Sunday and Ollie pounts out that there would have been only two of them – only to be roasted immediately by Alex's zinger which Ollie handled like a champ. ๐
I haven't read the RRA rules lately but the last time I did they specifically stated – no drafting and timers could be stopped for traffic lights on red – duration ๐ค
Being from Cardiff and now living between Newport and Monmouth this video is great fun

I don't think the traffic light times should be included, since there weren't a lot of traffic lights when AR Strong did it. The time standing still should have been "paused". Well done guys. An amazing feat.
