  1. Good stuff, love the geo of that frame and the straight blade form. Cannondales are the only alluminum bikes I like. If you are using it for city riding I’d highly reccomend switching the QRs on the wheels/seatpost for bolts to avoid theft.

  2. Damn that color is gorgeous. Awesome build! Full XTR is such a flex, looks amazing too

Any issues with proprietary Cannondale sizes or anything like that? I always felt like they had weird sizing for their parts.

  4. Nice to see another m500, and with a pbone fork! I love my matte violet, but that brown is killer. I kept mine with the 3×7 and canti’s, but you’re making me think upgrades soon lol.

This is the exact aesthetic I want to build my bike around. Idek where to start tho lol idk how this sub popped up, but these bikes are nice asl.

The last time I refinished an old aluminum frame I discovered stress fractures in the seat stays. It wasn’t a Cannondale, but I did have a Cannondale M700 frame from earlier in the 90’s that was replaced by Cannondale for the same reasons. Just a word of caution.

You did a very nice job and it’s a good mix of black and silver components
