Picked up a 1984 "stumpjumper" and "stumpjumper sport" from a neighbor that said they kept them in the garage for the most part. Appears to be all original parts from what I can gather. Still. Can't. Believe. It.
Not sure what tires I want to put on these yet! But hoping these bring my gf and I some real XBIKING joy

Rear derailleur on the smaller one isn’t original. They look well taken care of and stored indoors from the lack of visible neglect and rust on the chains, chain rings , and screw heads.
Am I crazy or does this thing have better dh geometry than most 90s to 2010’s mountain bikes?
