Hey everyone, I’m looking at buying a used 2016 Liv Rove 2 Disc from FB Marketplace and wanted to know if the price is right. The seller is firm at $500.

The Specs:

  • Size: Small (White/Blue colorway)
  • Drivetrain: 3×9 Shimano Altus shifters/gears
  • Tires: Giant S-RX4 700x40C
  • Condition: Seller claims "Like New" and indoor storage since purchase.
  • Service: Just had a "full service" in 2025.
  • Extras: Fenders and bottle cage included.

$500 feels a bit high for a 9-year-old hybrid that retailed for ~$670 new, but it is in pristine condition and just serviced last year. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help!

Seller is delusional. 9 years old and only $170 less than msrp is laughable. You can find 2025 bikes on bigger discount at bike shops new with warranty.

I could see like 325 tops being reasonable because of the fenders. The Rove is a great frame and geo. My girlfriend loved her 2017 Liv Rove 3 so much that I basically upgraded the hell out of it (rockshox air gravel fork, upgraded sealed bearing tubeless wheels, 1×10 deore XT with clutch, carbon seatpost and bars) and now it’s in a completely different category and is incredibly light.

I’ve been looking at those for my family. Same age and condition for the most part. I won’t pay more than $225. Two and I see a ton posted for $250

Livs are pretty good female orientated bikes. i know Bike Mart (Texas bike store) has em in stock tho… they barely sell
