It’s easy to think that a bike meet is about motorcycles.
Rows of machines. Different styles. Different brands.
But spend a little time there… and you realise that’s not really what brings people back.
This film is from the first meet of the year at Ashby Folville — but it’s not about the event itself.
It’s about what sits underneath it.
The conversations.
The people. The connections. The sense of belonging.
The mix of backgrounds and stories that somehow meet in the same place.
Because motorcycle culture isn’t just about what you ride.
It’s about the shared understanding that comes with it.

The motorcycle is just the entry point.

  1. Advertising/promotion of these events definitely need more work. That’s from everyone not just the organisers. I never hear of these types of events ever. Would love to attend stuff like this but just never know

  2. This is such a warm hearted video to make. You make no big deal out of it, but showing clearly what bike nights are like will get many people into going there and finding the community.

  3. Ive never been at a bike night with riders drinking Beer and Wine maybe not a great idea that , if im riding no booze in Scotland the limit is lower than England by the way.

  4. What a great video, loved seeing all the bikes, so much to see and drool over, I've been a biker for the best part of 50 years and have met fellow bikers all over the world and what a great bunch of people they have been, riding a motorcycle and meeting fellow bikers is truly one of life's greatest pleasures, look forward to seeing all your upcoming Biking Culture videos, by the way saw you both pop up on That Biker Simons channel ( he was at the same bike night)

  5. Seeing the Velocette reminded me: if you guys ever visit the US, you must check out the Barber museum in Birmingham, Alabama and/or the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Both are very cool.

  6. Thanks for the Plug guys it’s always nice to catch up with you. We shall be joining your DGR ride soon, seriously looking forward forward to it. 👍🏍️💨💨💨

  7. Bike nights are what it’s all about, no egos, just people who love two wheels coming together. Doesn’t matter what you ride, there’s always respect for the passion behind it. That one looks like a cracking night as well, great atmosphere and quality turnout. Proper good to see such a mix of bikes all in one place ✌️🇬🇧👌

  8. I don't know if it's because of my "built" 6.1, or my face but the last few times I was at a bike night, I had someone asking me about my 2002 Bonneville and then he said "they're f#cking boring", so I haven't been to one since last August or so, I'd just rather ride my bike

  9. Fantastic! Well done guys. I loved the captions and the music at around 7:00, 'different people/stories in one place' – THAT'S what motorcycling can do. Lovely clean customised sportster at the end. Looking forward to the upcoming rides…

  10. Hiya guys 👋. Fabulous video, brilliantly edited 👏😌. Fantastic to see the variety of machines at the meet. Best regards, Mo 😊👍.

  11. I just like parking up and watching bikes come in. A crappy bacon roll and coffee. Walking round looking at all the different bikes, there's hardly ever more than one of the same model parked up. I love seeing some of the really old bikes, leaking a little bit of oil, still rumbling along. It's great stopping at your local hangout after a good days riding. What a shame we don't get sunshine 365!

  12. I’m 47 and just bought a 2014 triumph scrambler…so pleased with it. Would love to go to one of these meets. I’m in Manchester so will look out for one
