Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Had some chunky gravel (with a tubeless puncture requiring a plug) and then this nice gravel stretch. Great day out. (Yes, my wife is on a Salsa Confluence ebike. She has a health condition that is aggravated by strenuous riding. I have to keep up with my analog.)

Not really bike related but did you see any cool birds on the ride? I love visiting preserves but I haven’t done any by bike. Probably be off my bike with my camera more than I’d be riding.
I think it’s fantastic that eBikes allow people with health or physical limitations from getting out and I don’t think anyone here would have commented on her bike (that’s my hope, at least).
That stretch of gravel looks dreamy. Everywhere around me is much rougher. My wife might actually join me on more service road rides if they looked like that. Looks like a gorgeous day out!
