A friend and me had an idea, why not do a 300+ km ride from home to sea. 50% gravel, 50% road.
We went through the cities Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges. We cycled under the Schelde. It was totally bananas, pure fun untill the counter hit 250km, then it went 10km to doubt between fun and perseverance. The last 40 km were pure persistence and test of our character.
Epic ride, not planning on doing it again soon.
250km is the sweetspot.
Loving the 2.1 Thunder Burt’s (bigger is better)
This ride was my declaration of love for my girl Aurora (my Cube Nuroad C62 Race)
Physical condition is on spot, my ass was raw and hands were sore, type 2 fun!

Wow!! 💪🏻
Impressive
Nice! Would you mind sending the gpx via chat? I wanna discover new gravelpaths in Belgium too ;D
Please tell me that your cycling computer is broken and that the 292 meters is not the altitude gain!
As a Dane who constantly get told that our country is flat, I have difficulties finding a route nearby or 30km with less than 300m altitude gain.
