Specialized Allez – but how old?

Hi,

My brother bought this bike in France, but he doesn't ride and so has give it to me.

I know it's a Specialized Allez (with A1 Enhanced Butted Allum. on the frame) and has Mavic CXP23 wheels (very light), Shimano Ultegra 3×8 groupset, but I don't know how old it would be.

I looked on eBay but couldn't find anything similar. Has been very well kept because it rides great and feels more aero than my much newer Trek Domane SL5.

(The black square is name of bike shop where it was bought i think, but blanked for privacy.)

[UPDATE] Think I found with help of Google/AI. I think it could be "2000 Allez A1 (Silver/Gray): A common colorway, frequently paired with a carbon fork, presenting a classic early 2000s race bike look."
