I remember Bercianos del Camino as one of the ugliest town in the camino. I stayed at the municipal albergue, it was super cold at night but a really nice comunal dinner and nice hospitaleros at least

Hi Efren, About the sun burn on your hands, there are 'hiking stick gloves' they are lite material and sometimes look like cycling gloves. I know it will be something else to keep track of.
You are right Efen….on the Mesetta my son and I were doing 30k-35k days, not our normal 25k. So flat, it was effortless. We still enjoyed all the Mesetta had to offer. It was awesome, and we couldn't understand why so many people skip some of this section. It was terrific!
