ETA: I found out that this practice is called “Love Locking” or uses “Love Locks” and is not necessarily the most environmentally beneficial, as lovers will often throw away the key at the location (nature) It can also negatively affect structural integrity of bridges ( eg Pont Neuf in Paris)
Can’t tell from the sign if it’s 1.2 km by bicycle to the location, or if the location is 1.2 km away, and the object is a bicycle
