Congrats KJordy and Max!!! Like Miley Cyrus said, its all about the climb, so glad that baguette was yum but hope you grabbed some butter and sandwich fixings to eat the rest with. One last question, are you biking back to the UK?
Thatβs a baguette, itβs good. However the regular baguette has peaked β France has moved on to the baguette tradition and you should definitely try one. My favorites are well cooked with nicely charred spots and that deep brown crust goodness. Donβt fall for the disgusting baguette bien blanche heresy (double agents coming from the UK to make us eat mushy peas). Anyways cool video, enjoy your time in our beloved MΓ¨re Patrie
It's flat, where is the difficulty? You made the mistake of cycling with Englsih people. Come to the highlands and do the same distance. That sht will hit very different.
You should have bought a Tradition "similar" to a baguette but better. That's what we mostly buy jn France now. If you're still in France try a tradition from a GOOD reputable bajery beause they are not all the same everywhere

Needs cheese, ham and Normandy butter to complete it π
I seem to remember the area between Calais and Paris being the most boring in France too. Nice when the flowers are out though.
Don't forget the cheese!! French bakeries are the best- i'd do that for a pain au chocolate or just a croissant β€
Those canola fields !!! So much yellow, my heart would burst ! π
Noice

You know there's a train?
I respect your commitment to bread. π₯
Well done π. Question for you, is Paris the shit hole I keep seeing by some media outlets in UK?
Well done! Now go buy some butter!!
Was that a tiger foreal?
Congrats on your trip! Now Iβd love to see a French person travel 400 km for fish and chips π
Du beurrrrrrre!!!

Well done, what a huge achievement!
Was your bike still there when you got back? π
What kinda bike you put gas in but still peddling?
You know in France they have a national 'bread law', or Le DΓ©cret Pain, which lays out how bread should be made, what ingredients can be used, and what standards and quality have to be maintained, which is why a traditional baguette is so delicious and never lasts more than a day because of a lack of treatment agents, preservatives, etc!!
Vive La France!!
I would hate just the thought of a bike after this π
πππ
Please tell me you got a crepe galette in Normandy π
Congratulations!!! What an incredible journey!
Mate. I have to say. You are multi talented.
