Post to far up + weight, or incorrect size post for frame.

Are you referring to what looks like a hairline crack?
Unless the bike is shared with riders of different heights, I would use a standard clamp with a bolt, and not the quick release. Add anti-slip compound if needed and torque to specs.
If that is a crack I am seeing, judging by the location, I would say over tightening is the issue.
Also, how long is the saddle post? It should be a good 100-150mm into the frame.
