I'm 6'3" and looking to get a starter bike primarily to ride on paved trails/roads. If I do pick it up I would take to a local shop for maintenance. Any idea what I might be looking at in maintenance costs?

2015 Specialized Sirrus: https://www.specialized.com/us/en/sirrus/p/65159?color=172455-65159

As described:

Specialized SIRRUS – Large
22 inch seat post to crank
24 inch top tube

Needs a new tube in the front
Needs new grips
Needs overall maintenance – but even with a new inner tube and quick chain cleaning it’ll rock!

Negotiate to $100 and it’s an even better deal. New tube $10; change it yourself. Wire brush to the chain and cassette for surface rust then degreaser and plastic brush to your drivetrain. Lube all pivot points with triflow, check chain for stretch and replace if needed. Make sure everything shifts properly then new grips and you’ll be golden.
