First time @ FlyUp 417 (Witcombe, Gloucester, UK).
Great day out, bumped into @driftingdan on his new 26″ Orange Orange.
Started off very steady doing some sighting runs, and getting used to the trails, and getting the bike mudguard sorted ready for the rain at BPW the next day.
Its only a small hill, less than 400 feet elevation, but a neat mixture of trails, with a fast uplift.
The day we were there, we almost had the place to ourselves, and banged out 19 runs.
Stats for the day – 25 miles including uplifts, 19 runs, 7,310 feet of elevation.
Some trails are better than others, but there’s a good variety of trails in a compact venue.
Great place to session your favourite trail, build speed, and then move onto the next trail to build skills.
We”ll go back.
