I took several trains from Hungary to Salerno, I had an amazing time biking the Amalfi coast, spent 1 night in a hostel in Naples and biked all the way up to the Matese mountains where I faced a big obstacle, the northern side of the mountain was still completely frozen. I descended down to about 1400m and spent the night there, waking up to a completely frozen bicycle and tent.
I had to change my whole route due to this and I was really done with the low temperatures so I took a train to Tuscany and I explored the beautiful coast of Formia, then the area of Orbetello.
I had amazing food, met the kindest coolest people and explored breathtaking sceneries! There was horrid rain but also healing sunshine!
