Stretched chain, worn teeth on the cassette, loose cassete, flogged freehub.

Maybe all of the above 👍

Edit: RD cable looks kinda funky also so there’s a chance you’re not inline there either. But by the sound and looks of it you’ve got a worn drivetrain, maybe even the chainring, plus something at the back that’s loosey goosey.

  2. The chain is new. Chainring wear is not noticeable. FD is angled and spaced properly. H limit screw is set correctly. This didn’t happen before, but i am noticing more flex from the frame. Could this be it? I am guessing that the frame is not of the best quality since the bike was $500 USD new.

I think your B tension needs adjustment. Possibly the cassette is loose too because it looks like it’s wiggling slightly. Edit: if I understand you it happens with two different wheels so I’d look at the B screw and get the jockey wheel closer to the cogs.

    It’s not dropping it’s skipping.

If you have a new chain on an old cassette, you just need a cassette and maybe chainrings.

If it’s all the same age you need a chain and cassette and maybe chainrings too.

Your drivetrain is worn out. Good job. Time to spend some money.

Clapped drivetrain. Time for a new drivetrain and chain checker to prevent for next time king. It be like that.

Looks like your cassette is wobbling, maybe it’s catching another gear and then jumping back down ,you might want to take it to the bike shop
