I genuinely don't get why karate doesn't focus face at all.
If the opponent girl could just have her chin tucked in and hands for defense that would already let her tank this move fully.
Karate has got potential but I feel this is the reason why it gets so much hate in general about being less useful than martial arts like boxing or Muay Thai.

This isn't really fair- she's fighting in a sport that doesn't train you to protect your head at all and focus on body/leg hits. I feel sorry for the other girls honestly. I'd love to see her try this in a sport that allows head punching like kickboxing and see how long she lasts doing it.
