I grew up in Essex, Basildon was actually fun to go to when I was a kid, it rapidly declined and became one the worst areas in Essex & then sadly every town after followed suit
I’m guessing Hong Kong must feel claustrophobic if you’vre grown up in a place with endless suburbs, farms and sprawled cities.
On the other, I’ve heard Blackpool,, England is an awful place to visit and live in.

I was in Basildon yesterday and a kid was crying cause he couldn’t find his mom when he woke up in the middle of the night and my fam had to get security Involved
Was nice to live here. Now just a dump.with so many foreigners. The government let in over 400 boat people Saturday. There a joke.
basildon isnt the best but its alright and also that weird building is a block of flats in the town centre, only a few people still live there
Oh well I know that it's only your option but this is really mean I love in Napoleon literally across the road from the town centre and I love my hometown so pls don't hate on it the council try so hard

I use to live there it was not that bad I lived by the shops we use to look out for each other you piss us off your not welcome
Dunno wht is worse Basildon or Southend ?
I’ve never been that offended, Basildon is great.its so fun to go to.So try go pick on another town instead of offending people,and actually most of the people in Essex live in Basildon and Benfleet so try pick on a town with less people in it,and by the way that building used to be an office but now its flats.
