You don’t have to do much if it is already in good condition. My only suggestion is to get city tires. Handle bar and stem don’t need changing unless you want to change your riding position.
You might have trouble finding a front rack for that fork, but rear rack is easy to bolt on if the frame has the screw holes or even just to the seat post for lighter racks.
