Hi friends! Want to see what it’s like cycling East to West from Newcastle to Carlisle on Hadrian’s Wall Cycleway (National Cycle Route 72)?
We’re excited to show you the cycle path conditions and also our weird and wonderful camp sites! There isn’t much accommodation on this route, so it’s good to get creative. We found really cool sites at a race track and right next to the wall in a sheep farm!
The 174 mile coast-to-coast route across northern England follows the corridor of the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site. While the walking path has been established for a long time, this official cycle route is relatively new.
