Any suggestions? Would like something on the budget side of things. Preferably under $500. Any specific brands/online sites to look at for second-hand bikes? Any specific bikes I should look for in Facebook Marketplace?
Main use would be for commuting but we also have a lot of gravel so definitely not a road bike. Obviously not expecting much at this price range (dont need hydraulic disc, steel/aluminium body okay), but would just like something that can work for someone petite.
Picture for attention (my ozark trail gravel bike). This is my bike. I want to get something similar for her (Ozark frames are typically run bigger compared to its claimed range, and small is too big for her)

Ok with absolutely no snark: it is tough to check all of your boxes. I would recommend checking FB and CG for older steel frame MTB/Hybrid bikes – like Trek Multitrack. A lot of those bikes came in smaller sizes, like 15”, which would fit her just fine. If you’re not tilted towards eShifting and hydraulic discs, then a good old rim brake hybrid is your best shot!
Does your Ozark Trail fit at all? I don’t imagine their sizing would go small enough really. Is that why you’re looking for something else? Otherwise the money is probably better spent on upgrades, there’s not much else available for a similar budget.
If you’re in the US, check craigslist, marketplace, ebay, pinkbike.

Or yea find a 90s Mtb to fix up, basically a gravel bike.
