Wife has same one it’s a little on the heavy side especially for hills and the gearing she changed seat and I put a pannier rack on it great little short trip commuter.

yah look for screw holes or something and see if you can get a basket that fits that

Not sure how tall you happen to be, but the saddle is likely much too low for efficient pedaling. You ought to be able to get close to full leg extension on your down stroke. Your ride will be more comfortable and more efficient.
If you happen to be on the shorter side then maybe you’ve already adjusted it to fit you and I apologize for the suggestion.
