My employer offers a bike lease plan and I'm stuck between two options. I'm leaning towards Van Rysel since there's a Decathlon nearby.

The price difference between the two doesn't really affect my monthly payments much, so that's not a deciding factor for me.

Worth mentioning: I've never ridden a road bike before, so this would be my first one. Which would you pick?

  1. I’d say both are good bikes, and lookswise the rcr-f is leagues ahead but remember this is a full on racebike and might not fit everyone, compared to the edr cf which would be more confortable and accessible as a first road bike

You can clearly see from the pic how much more aggressive the drop on the rcr-f is. If you are confident in your flexibility and core strength go with that, otherwise the first one

Second bike is cooler and probably more fun, but you better have some decent flexibility.

Considering this is your first road bike the first one is a more reasonable choice
