I’m looking to purchase mine first e-mtb
I were almost decided to buy canyon spectral on cf8 but avinox dropped a bomb with those new motors.
My question is would you buy canyon specral cf 8 (3,999€) and get it prty much rn or pre-order amflow pr carbon (4,700€) and wait for it ? ETA delivery is set for about 2 months or so

The only thing that would bother me with the shimano system is not the power of it, but more the noise it makes while doing it, look at some videos and see if this is something that would bother you.

I wouldn’t buy an e-bike with a Shimano motor now, and this is coming from a happy EP8 owner for the past 3 years. DJI have blown them out of any contention.
I’d wait for the Amflow but I already have an eMTB I can ride.
I have no knowledge on either bike but I’ve had my issues with an analogue canyon.
If it’s a new amflow with the mark 2 motor that’s a win from me, they are a big upgrade on the first amflow
Well, one is roughly 24kg the other 20kg. So if you plan on hitting trails, at least handling wise, the amflow will probably be more nimble.
I am currently riding a Spectral ONfly (roughly 18,5kg) and it’s really a huge difference compared to a Full embt when going downhill.
