I had the 110 oclv frame at the time. An awesome handling bike, it too a few years until they were weight-competitive. Also, those paired spokes wheels were subject to failure pulling the spokes out of the rim eyelets.

First road bike was a 2004 USPS OCLV 5200. Still my favorite ride ever, before having its lock cut in Chicago off Wells (I swear I’m over it lol). Just felt so smooth and responsive

I’m a noob to cycling, picking it up during Covid and mostly MTB and gravel. I am shocked at how primitive looking bikes were pre-2015 compared to what’s out now. I’ve seen 2000s bikes that don’t look much different from 1980s bikes. Was there really that much innovation and change in the past 10 years?

  4. I sold two of those to a married couple while I was working at a shop in college, asking with all the accessories. It’s one of the few times I wished we had been on commission!

Is this the one I’ve often seen parked at the Sunnyvale Costco? Although it has been a while since I’ve seen it.
