I want to buy this bike: https://www.decathlon.ca/en/p/8668511/endurance-road-bike-shimano-tiagra-2×10-speed-ncr-af

Is this a good bike for me or will it be too sporty as in an too uncomfortable riding position? I’m new into biking and looking for my first bike to explore a bit what a like. Hence I want something versatile.

I’m 33, always commute on my bike to work (25min). I did a lot of running (50k ultra) but got injured (yes all very typical) so want to pick up biking.

I’m not the most flexible guy so I have to take that into account when shopping for a bike. Budget is around CAD 2000 (USD 1500).

Van Rysel CNR AF seems to do it all, sporty but not too much, decent component and tires up to 38mm. Is it a good fit?

It’s a sporty position, but not extremely sporty. So if you’re a bit flexible, you’ll probably be fine.

Otherwise it’s a good bike and I’m pretty satisfied with it.
Feel free to ask questions. I have this one and the EDR AF Sword.
