  1. I don’t care what breed, size, etc… it’s a dog owner’s responsibility to maintain control of their animal.

Personally I think they should be punished as if they themselves attacked the biker. A dog is just a dog, it doesn’t know shit from anything. It’s 100% the owners fault.

If your dog doesn’t have 100% recall then you need to keep it on a fucking leash. You can’t can’t just fucking let them attack people. “Oh it’s a puppy”? Cool, leash it until it learns.

Often (depending on where of course) they’ll just put down any dog that draws blood. They are marked violent and risky, and shelters are already overflowing. So not only are they risking a random biker’s safety by not controlling their animal, they are risking their animals’ safety.

Asshole dog owners letting dogs loose onto the public. That’s what I think. I’m a dog owner and never consider allowing my dog loose onto the public.

  3. I would have ended up killing one of them dogs. Don’t be afraid to at least kick em I’m the head. Sometimes just that does the trick

  4. They have three more dogs than what they could control.

I have a dog, I like dogs, but if I see a pack charging at me in a clearly predatory manner, man I’m going apeshit fighting for my life, knife out and using my helmet as a buckler shield to fend off the dogs. It would be nasty, but there ain’t no way I’m getting out of that without a bite even if I fully cooperate with the owner.

  5. Dogs are cool, bike are cool, dogs and bikes cooler, but dogs that just sit and look at you while you ride by is the best

  6. Ugh, the second hand terror I’m feeling watching this. I used to deliver mail and had to deal with dogs like this. Only had to spray one once and I felt bad the whole time. Dog spray does work and I cannot recommend it enough!

This owner is an idiot and should not have this breed of dog. After raising five working line German shepherds, I know I couldn’t enjoy a Malinois. That breed is like a German Shepherd with a meth problem, they are not for weak willed lazy people.

  8. Dog owner who frequently bikes with her dog here. We have a lot of public lands in Montana, where I live and biking with your dog is a thing. However, there are some breeds that belong on leash or in a secure/highly controlled owner situation, Mal and Shepherds being two at least. They are known to have the issues displayed in this situation and are strong, big dogs with a big bite. That being said, I’m more leery of my 60 pound lab being attacked by a griffon or a doodle than other breeds. I’ve had a herding dog bite my tire but all the herding breeds do that…its their instinct and how they herd. I don’t get offended by that.

  9. Old mate hate “Martial arts” business branding on his jacket. Should stick to that rather than dog breeding by the looks

Nicer than me man, I’d be punting them in the face to keep them away fuck that shit. Dogs should be on leashes. Especially untrained and aggressive ones. I’m not risking my health so you and fido can cuddle up at the fire place. Dog comes at me to attack I’m comin right back at them.

Tip: if an aggressive dog ever comes at you while riding and you can’t outrun it, dismount and put the bike sideways between you and the dog. Might not work for three dogs like this poor guy though

Fuck unleashed dogs. I’m not holding back a kick to the jaw because *he’s the goodest boy and he’s great off leash*. If they can attack without provocation, I sure as fuck can *with* provocation
