According to Strava… My Canyon SL7 R7000 105 Mechanical Rim Brake bike has an official mileage of 13500KM…. Every time I go for a ride, the urge to upgrade to a newer disc brake bike vanishes because it feels so smooth, agile and lightweight. I’ve almost hit the Order button 3 times in the last 2 years on a more modern Canyon Ultimate disc brake road bike LOL.
The carbon wheels are from Winspace and they’re about 12000KMs without any issue, still as true as the day it came to me. Rocking a set of tubed GP5000 for the first 10K and then went to Tubeless GP5000 STR in the last few thousand KMs. Also very surprisingly, the original 105 chain still hasn’t shown .5 wear after all this mileage, confirmed by two chain checkers but I do maintain my drivetrain well.
Any one still riding their rim brake Ultimates?

That’s insanely clean for the mileage. Your chain is bling
I had nearly 30,000 miles on my 2018 rim brake Di2 Aeroad when I sold it in early 2025. Held up fantastically.
I’d double check the chain situation in a bike service just to be sure. 13.5k is a lot for one chain even if you ride only flats and clean the chain after every ride.
