  1. sloppy_cement_farts on

Canal lachine, and the circuit jacques villeneuve are the best mtl bike rides. The mountain is nice, but not on a fixed gear.

  2. Gonna chip with what I know:

Bike path along the canal Lachine, Circuit Giles Villeneuve and Estacade bike path are nice to stroll around or train.
Kondiaronk Belvedere is cool to check the city from above. *(It’s been a while but i’m fairly certain there is paved path to do it on bike otherwise it’s light gravel.)*
And there is a bunch of mainstream/famous stuff but it’s always the gamble to know if it’s worth the detour for you ; but you can bundle up seeing the Olympic stadium and getting icecream at Hoche Glacé for example.

Steepest hill is probably Hotel de Ville near CEGEP du Vieux Montreal (Dime Bomb challenge spot)

Bike shop you could check out (that have a stuff related to FG)
C&L : a classic (and next to LaBanquise/Poule Mouillé) they don’t have a lot of specific FG stuff at the moment but they carry MKS, Nitto, Simworks, Fairweather and got some NJS Frame exposed for example.
iBike : Moslty aware they got some SBC (4130 & BL), Dolan, and velobike stuff. Their selection go more toward velodrome stuff so you can pop to see $1K track handlebar in person.
Atelier Olympia – further away from me so not sure what they have but they instock now but chill dude and got some spinergy and hed3 exposed from his collection.
And I’ve seen Bianchi super pista and Brooklyn Machine Works Gangsta frames in the TAK window shop but I’m actually not sure what they have inside.

As for events, the messengers are [throwing a race](https://www.instagram.com/montrealbma/p/DXX0kC1iZDm/) this Saturday and there is supposed to be the [morning coffee ride](https://ridewithgps.com/events/474312-coffee-outside-cafe-dehors) with C&L Sunday morning (but it might be cancelled if there is not enough people/interest.)

    Forecast looks good for riding!
