I have one and love it. Check for creaks when you ride, look for cracks in the frame (unlikely) and look at the drivetrain. See how it shifts and feel how it stops. That’s a pretty darn good bike for that price, but I may be biased.

That would be priced a bit high in my area. I’d probably shoot for closer to $800 being an appropriate price on that bike considering the component levels. Good luck!

I’ve got the exact bike and it’s been great for me. The bike pedals well and feels great on the trail. I do wish I had opted for the shorter travel Top Fuel, but I was coming off eleven years on a hardtail and wanted something cushy for a change.

Grossly overpriced. Trek bikes are underspec’d and overpriced when new, and this is a used and filthy 2021 model. The bike market has collapsed. I would offer 800 and see where it leads.

that’s actually a solid price for a trek ex 7! make sure to check the suspension for any leaks and test if the dropper post works smoothly.
