Vibe wise id keep the Salsa. Functionalwise i would choose the ritchey. Impossible decision

Id keep the Salsa. Rim brake bikes with nice tire sizes like that are really special. The Ritchey is nice but it’s just an average modern road bike.

Soooo How much for the salsa?? Looks my size!

Keep the richey! Unless you’re selling it to me.

Trying to give a real answer: I would keep the Ritchey because disc brakes make it more versatile regarding tire sizes.
But the Salsa is definitely sweet as well. Really a very hard decision!

God damn those are some cool ass bikes.
I’d keep the Salsa probably, but I’m a rim brake weirdo, assuming you ride road mostly. Ritchey seems a little more conventional and also off road oriented, and I’m sure you’ve got some MTBs as well

Nope. Dont sell man. There’s 2 epic bikes there, selling regret sucks. Sometimes it’s just nice to own things that you love…

I would keep the salsa just for the aura points plus you can get another type of bike for forest paths

Salsa is much more interesting, Ritchey is kinda just a generic modern bike. I think if you have other bikes to handle off road, and you mentioned the salsa can go to 36 tyres, I’d keep the salsa as the easy choice!

Are you in CZ/SK? I can help you decide by buying one.

If it’s a space thing I’d sell the parts on the Salsa and keep the frame to keep the Ritchey.
Ritchey is a modern bike and the disc brakes just make gravel doable. I think 40c tires are just the standard for all road riding. Also your hands and body will love you more.

The Ritchey is both a vibe and the functional choice.

Although I am Team Ritchey, I belive the disc swiss cross is way more available than the salsa (at least in europe).
I have the canti version and love it, but it a racier bike!
Rim brake for the win!

I loved my casseroll. Probably the bike I regret selling the most. It was the next version with the cantis though. I’d still rather have the ritchey. Even though disc brakes are the worst it still is cooler

That salsa is hot, pun intended. Apart from what others mentioned about it being more unique, which I agree with, it is also aestheticaly more pleasing bike to me. I would keep it.
