Would you say this is a good deal? I'm looking to get my first FS and would prefer to stay under $1k. This seems like a good deal. Apparently the drivetrain needs a tune up but everything else is good to go.
Go for it. If that drivetrain tune-up shows that NX derailleur is being finicky be prepared to upgrade it to a GX, which you could do for <$150 bucks. It may put you over your $1k budget but would still be a solid deal IMO.
