Hi everyone, does the clearance look okay? I’m thinking about how much it might flex once there’s weight on the bike. It’s fine with my 66 kg, but would it still be okay if I added about 12 kg of luggage?
I mean, doesn't the margin in the photo already look pretty tight to you?

The weight added isn’t going to squish down the top of the tire, only the bottom of the tire. 12kgs likely won’t do much at all anyway.
Throw it on and go for a short ride & see if it’s ok.
Not sure if it’s just photo perspective but something looks very off about the rear wheel. It looks way off centre.
Is it seated correctly in the dropouts? Is it super out of true? Dished incorrectly or hub spacers installed incorrectly?

Op – get out a ruler and measure the distance between the rim (the metal part that holds the tire on) and the edge of the chain stay (the metal tube that connects the wheel axel to the pedals). It should be the same on both sides. From the picture, it looks as if the left hand side has a much smaller distance than the right (if you are facing forward on the bike).
If it is – loosen the fastener that holds the rear wheel in the frame and push the side that is too close (where you measure it) back to the center and then tighten in.
Try it? How on earth do you think we can answer this from here?
Strap 20kg of weight and trash the bike around in the street near your house, you’ll figure it out soon enough…
I had this issue putting 35mm on my road bike for a fully loaded canal path tour – I had a lot less room at the rear (1-2mm) than in your picture and it would rub occasionally (albeit for a split second) if putting power down I assume because of the flex as you mention – but you have a lot more space than this so should be absolutely fine
The first pic looks like there’s a radial split in the tire. Is that a thing or just a bad pic?
