Excited to have joined the Canyon family. I have always owned trekking bikes my whole life. My last trekking bike was a Giant Fastcity CS with an internal shimano nexus 8 speed hub. Reliable but definitely not fast. I put about 3900 kilometers on it. I felt like I out grew it riding wise. I wanted to go on faster time rides. I ride mainly 80% bike lanes around my city with 20% hard gravel trails. I couldn’t commit to a road bike so I almost got the Grizl, but I felt that it was a little too much of a bikepacking style of bike for me. Ended up with Grail cf 7. unfortunately got the flu the day I picked it up. Haven’t gotten to ride more than 30 min from bikeshop to home. So definitely excited to get healthy and out there again.

Nice bike!
it is a fast bike, i love mine! (Grail AL). but on certain days with commuting I struggle to carry clothes & laptop with it as there’s barely any space for framebag & no chance for a simple rear rack. but I have another slow city bike with cargo front rack for that purpose 🙂
