I got this older bike that im trying to get back in working order and it looks like it needs new brake pads, but when I look this up only the whole brake system pops up. Do I have to replace this whole thing or does anyone know what I can Google to find the pads? Its a Specialized Hardrock bike. Im unfortunately not very mechanically inclined.

If u take the pads out u would have a better chance of finding the shape the fits
Why do you think a photo of the disc brake adapter would help you on your quest? Remove the pads, or maybe even post a photo of the actual caliper itself.
