
Saw this brake system pop up on instagram and cannot find it again. I think it was a concept style from the 80s which used a center pull brake cable to evenly push the brake pad into the rim. Similar to BMX piston rim brakes but was cable actuated and partially rotated something inside the green mount. Pro was that it kept the brake pad square against the brake track.

I can’t say how they worked at the time but the couple I encountered in bike coops were not thriving. A very cool piece of bike history though
