  1. Honestly, looks great.

All that matters is that all your expected stuff fits in those bags. The bike and the tires and the hardware all depend on the terrain you’re riding, and you know the route. We don’t.

As far as the bags and the balance and the total volume, the only rule is it has to work. Looks good. Godspeed!

The weight is only on the back. It won’t be unridable but it’s pretty bad when climbing steep terrain and can get wobbly on the descents. If you can, try to put some bags on your fork and/or your handlebar.

Or leave like this, it’s not a perfect weight balance yes but you’ll still have a blast !

  3. I would avoid the frame bag and the saddle bag and attach some of my load to my fork instead as I prefer a less back heavy bike and it’d also help against side winds shaking the bike, but that’s just me.

  4. Your frame and wheelset were not designed for loaded touring. You should consider a trailer.

  5. I did eurovelo for several weeks last year with a very similar setup, however with an additional handlebar bag and no saddlebag. Adding weight to the front made steering much more stable and comfortable. I dont have mounting points on my forks, but if I had as you do, Id use them.
