Grx brake pads don’t cover pistons

I’m building a bike with GRX810.

I just noticed the pads don’t cover the pistons. This is new out of the box. Haven’t done anything yet.

They have the cooling fin pads, so no option of the pads coming further down.

Anyone else have this? Any one think this is normal?
