Howdy all!

I've found a good local deal on a lightly used 2025 Aeroad CF SLX in size Medium.

I understand the best action would be buy from Canyon direct and return if it doesn't fit but I'm pretty tempted by this local seller's bike.

I historically ride 56cm bikes from other brands, my most recent bikes being a Cervelo S5 and a Cervelo Soloist where 54cm felt too small. These were done with a proper bike fitting.

However, entering my measurements in Canyon's website, they reccomend a size Small seemingly mostly because of my short inner length length for my height.

My thought is because my reach is quite long, a Medium would fit fine as the reason my other bikes make sense without needing to make drastic cockpit adjustments.

Does anyone have any thoughts? l

Cheers!

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

  2. USUALLY I think long torsos have an easier time on the longer reach, larger frame. You can always lower seat post. However if you are into the “have to cut seatpost” size, it’s a tough sell.

I think you will probably be ok because saddle height is WAY more adjustable than reach.
