For context. It's a size large and i am 6'0 and about 260lbs. I know raleigh ia out of business so would buying a 7 year old bike still be serviceable? Any other options i should considering?
The wheels are nice but that frame shouldn’t be 1000 7 years old. Something like a Marin nicasio is less than that new.

That’s an incredible bike. I wouldn’t sell mine for anything less than that. But I certainly wouldn’t pay more than $600 for it, considering it was super duper clean.
Yes the entire bike is easily serviceable, I’m 220lbs and consistently beat the crap outta it. I bought it in 2017 and have well over 10k on it. Only replaced wearable parts and the wheels.

It’s a nice bike. I would say $700-$800 but it depends on your market and what condition the drivetrain is in. If you have to end up replacing chain, chainrings, cassette, brakes soon then it’s worth a lot less. If this bike is pristine and well maintained $800 wouldn’t be out of the question. I don’t know about the market you’re in though… if prices are high on used bikes in that market and you have an opportunity to do a thorough inspection before purchase… maybe even a bit higher. I think $1000 is kind of overpriced though
