Used to bike commute but that was years ago. Getting back to it and was wondering what tips or gear is recommended.
It's a 15-20min bike ride so not too far but wanted to make sure I have all the check marks done…..also kinda wanted to show off the bike lol
Edit: office has in house shower and will be parking my bike in the office. Biggest worry is riding on the road since the quickest way to get there is through main street so it's always packed

Give yourself plenty of time the first few times. Let yourself adjust without the pressure of being late. You don’t have to do 5 days a week your first shot to, you can ease up for it.
Other than that enjoy!
I have a similar sounding commute. 20-25 minutes on a busy road.
I asked for, and got permission, to come in 30 minutes early and leave 30 minutes early each day. It’s made a significant difference in how much traffic I have to be in the middle of.
Oh, and my rear-view mirror is essential.
But good heavens, what it does for my physical, mental and spiritual health – not to mention my financial health – still amazes me, at over 7 years of daily commuting. I’m also doing my little part for a cleaner, greener environment.
Be safe out there!
Don’t forget tools and extra inner tube.
Don’t clamp the frame!
