I mainly ride my bike, every day, rain or shine. A few tips: Buy a good helmet! Don't ride on the wrong side of the road (it can be expensive). Use your bike bell early and don't be shy about it! Watch out for older people, as they often ride incredibly recklessly and don't pay any attention to traffic (like little children). Have fun with it and dont be afraid of the rain.
Don't be sad if your bike gets stolen! It will happen.
