  1. I tuned in for 6 hours to watch Tadej make history. But I couldn't help but to smile to see Wout conquer this Monument. If Tadej keeps coming back, he will eventually get his. But today was about Wout fulfilling his destiny.

  2. I was so happy to see this win yesterday, I actually teared up a bit because I've been a fan of Wouts for many years and this has to feel amazing after the last few years of everyone saying he's best days are over. In a way this has to be good for Tadej as well as it will hopefully drive him more to improve

  3. You can see in every second that Wout has made his dream come true with this victory – after 8 years and this backstory! So deserved! And this like a family-man!

There's no other way to beat Tadej Pogacar. He did everything right! One of the most emotional victories I've ever seen!

  4. Wout speaking through all the all the whirlwind of emotions there and being on the right side of it this time, it is so fantastic to see 👌💪
    Congratulations Wout

  5. Im a huge fan of Wout. I still dont think its his best performance on a bike(winning a mountain stage, TT, and the sprint on the champs has to be the biggest feather in his cap), but he is the man. He shows that with age comes wisdom. He might not have the biggest motor in the peloton that will win a stage on solo with the yellow jersey flapping his wings on a sprint stage going so fast anymore, but he uses his brain with whats left of his massive motor to race intellegently. It is something I look forward to seeing more of. Tadej is so special and truely is one of the Goats of the sport. He came so fast on the scene and took over. The young guns absolutely curbed stomped the old guys with the new tech and massive ability like Tadej. As they age, if another Tadej doesnt come along(which is a once in a lifetime talent), we will get to watch these massive motors start racing even more intellegently. Its gonna be hard again for the young guns to beat the old guys that go just as fast with 10+ years of wisdom.

Im excited for this new chapter. Im sad to see someone like Evenpoel get swept away when he has so much talent. In the past, he would slowly gain wisdom and come to a real contender around 30+ yrs old, but these days, you gotta race with 10 years experience with 20 yr old legs. It is truely the people looking for someone who 10 years experience for an entry level job from someone that is 18 yrs old.
