There’s a slight rattling/movement of the casette or hub – I can’t tell which. It’s easier to be observed when I pedal lightly and then stop pedalling. I did try to tighten the casette the best I could though.
I don’t know if this was the behaviour before I changed as this was a bike given to me(or my son rather.) Didn’t get to ride it much before swapping out the old rusty cassette/chain.
Just changed cassette and chain. Slightly movement , normal?

Cassette play like that is normal if you’re shifting fine and you don’t hear any bearings from your hub its likely fine,
Does the wheel move if you try to push it left or right? If so, than your freehub might need some tightening. I don’t think it’s the casette. Others might know more.
Hmm on balance I would say no issue.
That degree of wobble I would say is normal. ( 2-3 similar posts a week on this topic). Key point; if it’s shifting fine then not worth worrying about.
As for the rattle I can’t say
100% fine it’s the freehub wobble, there will always be some
